About

Remi was born in Paris and spent time as a child in a French Caribbean island. He was trained by a master craftsman in a small workshop in south of France. He now lives with is family in Townsville tropical North Queensland.

When it comes to design Remi says: "I have a taste for simplicity and the function always comes first. Nevertheless my aim is to create unique pieces that stand out from the mass produced furniture."

As a maker, there is no compromise for quality, from the careful selection of timber, through good joinery, to the choice of durable finishing.

We want to produce furniture that last a lifetime with a minimum impact on the environment.

Client Testimonials

Chris from Mysterton

I contacted Remi to build us an entertainment unit after looking at the beautiful samples of his work on the web site.

I’ve never had furniture custom made and didn’t know what to expect but Remi made the process easy. With just a few emails we settled on a final look and Remi gave us realistic timeframe then delivered on schedule.

Delivery day expectations were high but it was even better than I had hoped. We didn’t just get an entertainment unit but a true piece of art. His attention to detail, keen design eye and obvious professional skills are extraordinary.

Thank you Remi.

We asked Remi to design and build a kitchen that would meet our requirements. We worked together to achieve this goal. We have a kitchen that we love. Remi was so easy to work with and we stayed within budget. Thank you Remi.

Going through the process of designing a piece of furniture with Remi is an experience all in itself. We built a freestanding bar cabinet which is the centre piece of our dining room. Remi's attention to detail and innovative ideas are truely invaluable when you are looking to create a conversation piece that will stay in your family for generations. Thank  you Remi.
